When they bring Lauren in to talk to her, she tells them that there is no way that Charlie killed Victoria because she was with him at the silent movie theater and then at her house the night Victoria was killed. Mouse comes to the office with some more information, Charlie was not only running this check scam with Victoria, he was dating Victoria’s younger sister. When they go back to Voight to tell him and he tells them that Charlie confessed and tries to close the case. Also, the boat was last registered two years ago and the owner died and the storage fees for the boat are paid for in cash. The woman from the crime lab says there is no way that boat was used to dispose the body because of the lack of blood. He tells Lindsay and Halstead to go check it out with the crime lab.Īfter checking it out, the crime lab doesn’t find any prints on the drill and they searched the entire boat of traces of blood and there wasn’t any. Along with a confession, the lawyer hands Voight an address where they could find the boat used to dispose of the body and the drill used to kill her. You can tell that Charlie is being pressured into confessing to cover for someone else. He tells them that he told her that he didn’t like the guy she was seeings and that’s when his lawyer walks in.Īfter speaking to his lawyer for a few moments alone, Voight and Antonio walk in to talk to them and the lawyer tells them that Charlie is prepared to confess. The guys’ name is Charlie and Voight and Antonio are questioning him about what him and Victoria fought about outside the strip club the night she was killed.
After a bit of a scuffle with Ruzek, which involves them breaking through the rail of a second floor pouch and falling to the ground, they are able to arrest the guy they were looking for. Ruzek, Antonio and Halstead head over to the guys’ house. Voight heads down there to talk to the guy at the club, he gives them a name of the guy who was making the IDs and checks that she was using. They also found out that the club she worked in is also owned by the man who owns a social club that Voight is a part of.
She was using them to cash fraudulent Social Security checks. No one tells them anything, but they look through her locker and find a bunch of IDs. Olinsky and Ruzek go to the club to talk to her co-workers to find out if there was any customers there that threatened her. Meanwhile, Voight and the team got an ID on the girl found in the river, her name is Victoria and she was a dancer at one of the local strip clubs. Instead of having her go to the precinct to file for a protective order, Roman storms out to go look for him. Her crazy ex-husband showed up, drunk and trashed her house because she refused to give him some of Andrew’s stuff. Meanwhile, Burgess and Roman are responding to a call to Andrew’s mothers house.
